The Lezarian Council is the ruling body of the world of Lezaria. It has gone through many forms throughout the years, and has also been known by the names Elven Council, Council of Races and Council of Nations.
History[]
The first incarnation of the Lezarian council was the Elven Council, held by the elves of Zarhanna, first formed in 1120.
The Council of Races came later and originally met infrequently to discuss matters of global importance and negotiate treaties and trade agreements. It was an unprecedented show of cooperation between the diverse peoples of Lezaria, and possibly the first time elves and trolls had sat down in the same room without attempting to kill one another.
In 4813, Thorn restructured the Council of Races to become the new Council of Nations, upon pointing out that crossbreeds and shapechangers made a Council of Races of questionable relevance.[1]
